I became a regular at the various children's festivals organized in different cities.

I made my debut at Bookaroo, the most happening children's literature festival, at Srinagar. The exquisite beauty of nature, the unbridled enthusiasm of the kids and my unfettered insanity created, I think, I heady concoction and I had a blast.

Bookaroo, Delhi was great fun too with children, parents and teachers serving as near perfect cheerleaders and egging me on to greater levels of creative lunacy.

Earlier, I had my first taste of things to come at Ghummakkad Narain, the travelling children's festival, organized under the Aegis of Unesco at Dehradun.
Creative Workshop Festival, Shillong
In May 2012 I was invited to launch a ‘Creative Workshop Festival’ organized by ‘The Bookmark Sahaki’, the premier bookshop of Shillong. I conducted ‘Writers’ Block’ – the ‘Young Writers Workshop’ spread over a period of two days. The venue was the Don Bosco Youth Centre in Laitumkhrah, the academic hub of Shillong.
