| FESTIVALS |
I became a regular at the various children's festivals organized in different cities.
I made my debut at Bookaroo, the most happening children's literature festival, at Srinagar. The exquisite beauty of nature, the unbridled enthusiasm of the kids and my unfettered insanity created, I think, I heady concoction and I had a blast.
Bookaroo, Delhi was great fun too with children, parents and teachers serving as near perfect cheerleaders and egging me on to greater levels of creative lunacy.
Earlier, I had my first taste of things to come at Ghummakkad Narain, the travelling children's festival, organized under the Aegis of Unesco at Dehradun. |

| I had the privilege of participating in the International Story Telling Conference organized by SAI, International, Bhubaneswar. The highlight of the Conference was the tiny tots performing a play written by me called 'The Cactus'. |
